so its 1 30 in the morning and i finish putting everything back together, wires and all.. and then i go to crank it and nothing happens.. it cranks but doesn't turn over... im guessing its just fuel getting into the engin and all.. so i turn the fuel pump on and off on and off.. then try to crank and still nothing.. then i tryed one last time it starts but then it died.. so im guessing it might be the maf.. but imma check on that tomorrow.. gotta wake up in like 5 hrs...

heres a pic when i put the intake back on..

you do need projectors for HID to work how it should otherwise the light will spread look like crap and blind everyone. make your own. plus you want to use a smooth glass or no glass not that etched and textured glass. id stay away. but i guess they would be something to fool around with....

it would just be like your reg lights.. just brighter (hid) its just you wont have that line that projector gives... and you just adjust the level.. i know alot of people running hids w/o projectors

"Floor Strut Tower Brace"
where are the strut towers on the floor???

A MUST HAVE FOR RACERS AND DRIFT drift king!

As for the HIDs, the idea that an HID bulb in a standard housing will be ok is not correct. It will not be the same light spread but with greater intensity. And it is true that lots of people illegally run HIDs in housings not made for that kind of bulb but they also blind other drivers without a care in the world.

We had some recent threads on this subject I believe.

the truth is, even projector lenses that were not made originally to house an HID bulb do not perform as well when converted to HID. Take a look at the beam pattern changes on Z32's that have had an HID upgrade.
Its better than a reflector type lense but still not perfect.

why did you wet sand it? didnt you get it pro painted like a year or two ago? you really shouldnt have to ever wet sand it again if its done right the first time. just some rubbing compound buff and wax...
