Holy $417!

I have a lot to do!

Z show's less than a month away and my car has been sitting untouched in the garage for months...

I gots ta git bizzy.

So tell me, what project should I start on first?

Finishing the headliner and rear hatch lower panel re-fabric.

Dent removal/paint under hatch/license plate area. (Still FUBAR from rear-ender)

Paint inside of hood/engine bay.

Re-tint windows.

Re-Wire amp/sub combo.

Find mysterious electrical draw that kills my batter if I leave it connected after only a day or two. (seriously pissing me off, but I think it may be a door switch)

Or... he other 150 things I need to do before MSA...

Well???

i'm an all in or all out interior kinda guy, so i'd say finish the interior first. or take it all out and fix your rear panel. <---- thats just me.

well rod those are all fine and dandy, but you should drive it a bit, so youll actually know if it will make it to msa. after all you have some luck getting there. me personally i would do the paint first, followed or do the draw thing. those 2 are my choices, the rest can follow

I actually drove it yesterday for no good reason...

I just felt like burning up some $4.00 per gallon gas and polluting the environment all in the name of pointless thrills.

It still runs like a raped ape (after it warms up).

Door switch = Culprit. Door Switch also = No longer allowed to hang out in my car.

Since I got tired of taking my car to the body shop after every ten miles of driving (See previous horror stories of illegal alien hit and run drivers, Demoniacally possessed shopping carts from Hell, Mattress wielding neighbors, and un-insured tweakers all on a mission to destroy the Darth Z Project)... I went out and got a whole crap load of body tools and goodies to try my hand at some minor repairs. I even got matching black paint from the body guy that painted it (the last 3 freaking times!!!! )

So, I will be busy between now and MSA.

Good luck with your Z Rod! I'm in the same boat as you. My headgasket gave up the ghost, but with time constraints, I doubt I will be able to get a chance to work on my Z before the show. Oh wells, there's always next year right?

ALL black? no way. her's what im doing, i painted the block black, oil pan orange and some suspension parts red the others black, polishing the valve cover and im going to polish and clean up my intake manifold, then im getting red plug wires and freshening up the engine bay walls with black paint. leaving the head the stock clean grey. that should look VERY nice together. i also want to eliminate teh charcoal canister.

Black, orange, red, polished, and grey... sounds like the circus came to town.

PS... Chinesekid, you got a nice set of tools!

ok well underneathe is the only place orange appears, the grey is a sliver actually, so it will mesh with the polished as wiill the red and black. now a circus, its just the jealousy kicking in

pffft.... just pay some pro to make your mounts unless your a great welder cost a couple hundred then wire it in yourself. its pretty easy only 6 wires on average i noticed for splicing in ECU's. im sure hybridz has great info on the wiring i learned how to wire in a RB from there. stupid easy job!
