i wonder if any body is ok in San Diego county at all ? ive heard on the news 250,000 plus people are leaving ...

 

i know Rod is right there in Escondido, and the fires are all over there. how you holding up bro?

 

quite a few of my family is in san diego and they say that theres ashes everywhere in the air and all that.. but they said its getting a little better rite now

but all seriousness. that sucks, i hope everyone for the most part, is ok, not everyone can be so lucky though as to escape fires like that.

 

according to my computer's calculations, this fire will consume all of southern California by the year 2020

 

that is, of course, assuming California does not slip into the ocean before 2020.

 

at least it will put out the fire

 

I think John (lifegrddude) had to evacuate north. But he's okay...hopefully the home will be okay as well. He said his Z was covered in ash. I have my grandparents and aunt living in SD and they had to go as well. I can't imagine having to leave my home and wondering if it's going to be there when I come back. My prayers go out to you guys.

looking at the maps of the fires, and having an idea of where Rod lives, it's not looking great. he may have been evacuated. He is somewhere in Escondido, and half of Escondido is on fire, and the rest has been evacuated. Best of luck Rod, hope you and the family are ok.

Damn. Im so out of the loop and i friggin live in cali. I knew there was a couple fires but 9?! Has anyone heard from Rod? I think a few of you still have his digits. Someone should call that man.

 

i hope ventura and santa barbera dont go up in flames..

 

there were 12-15 fires burning earlier today i think maybe 1 or 2 are completly contained and 2 or 3 others 50+% contained and i think 5 firefighters have lost their lives and 8 more injured also 2 civilians have been put in the hospital in icu thats about all i know but i was watching the news around 1:30 ish then went to work on the z

 

my aunt lives on a ranch out east of SanDiego. She's ok and the house was still up when she left but her barn burned down. The horses are just out in the fields. That area doesn't have a lot of grass and the fires were contained yesturday but could come back.

I AM SITTING HERE ON MY BOATS WITH MY FAVORITE PAIR OF BLACK LACE PANTIES WAITING FOPR MOTHER NACHER TO COME DOWN AND TAKE THEM OUT OF JEALOUSY.........there is so much space between the fire and me boat that there is not too much worry vbout that----i just hope all our friends are ok and their insurance is paid up and proper......cali burns on a regular cycle, and wants to have the flames reach the water of the sea------i am watching to see if that will happen-----ma nacher's cleansing of this state..........go figger-------and we build homes in the path of fury and wonder.......sheesh, i just hope everyone is ok.....we have 3 seasons in so cali----flood, slide, burn...........and kitty is on guard.......

 

yeah i used to live on queenston drive and it had been evacuated for some reason the house up the cul-de-sac had it's roof on fire.

Wow! So many people concerned... Actually chokes me up a little.

We are OK. We were mandatorily evacuated early monday morning. If you've been watching the news, you may have heard about the damage in "Del Dios" and "Harmony Grove"...Well, that's where my house is ( I think ) .


We had about 2 minutes to grab what we could and bail. I think the house is OK (The Z is in the garage) but not 100% sure.


Thanks for all the concern and I'll keep you guys posted.

glad you are OK man! i have been keeping tabs on that google fire map. looks like it just barely missed Stone, and i know you are close to them.
