you're hilarious ent. And snw, not exactly. My understanding is that it would include something more serious. Like if you were to claim you were God to the world and be serious about it. The bible says the anti-Christ will do this.

Now you are going to take what I just said and say "look you said a park bench was made by someone, why can't the world be made by someone?"
And I will respond by saying, I only belive the things that have actual proof of exsisting, not a book that say they exsist, I live in a world where I know I'll live I'll die and I will figure the rest out after I die, if I am able to figure it out.
I consiter you lucky and screwed at the same time, lucky for being able to belive and comprehend something beyond the world, and screwed because if you find out you're wrong you're going to have to live with the fact that everything you were brought up to belive was wrong.
Which brings me to my next point, why the hell do you guys have popes? All he is now is some guy appointed to rule all christians and make rules you HAVE to follow, whether it be books, music, or any other form of expression he will take away. He is just there to make sure you remain under his power and don't belive anything eles. If god gave everyone a free working mind, why is someone able to determin what is right, wrong, evil, or anything eles?
I'm sorry but I can't stop.
Another thing I can't get over is Christians HATE gays. I'm not gay but c'mon, just leave them alone. The worst part is politicians, there is suppose to be a line between church and state and these god loving *** holes come out and say they don't want gays marring because of there god. They clearly need to be punched in the face.
I guess what I'm getting at is, I don't want anything taking away my rights or choices and will stand against anyone who trys to tell me otherwise.

I really don't expect anyone to read all of this

religion will always get in our way no matter what, even if we don;t believe in it. there will always be people that do and talk to you about it. perfect example me. My parents are like friggin saints, me i can give a **** they go to church every Sunday blah blah blah. they are ven making me go to ccd (religious education) and well its not going ery smooth. I keep telling them religion is only there if u wanna believe in it. I don't believe in it. it's all bs. I mean seriously one cna only believe so much. I believe human being can only get to where they want by working and thinking hard. if you have ambition you will get what you want no matter what just a matter of thinking how u can do it and working with what you got. they believe if oyu work hard and dedicate your life to god he will help you get what you want. (yeah that;s why we live in a single story 2 bedroom house in the middle of the decert) and with my lifestyle i already have 6X as much as what my parents had when they where my age. they where helping the church at age 14, ha ha I was already working at age 14, i got my first car at age 14. i kept working, learning business, exchanging parts etc. and now im 17 and I already own an RB powered RHD S13, and soon a RHD TTZ32. its not luck. its how we think of things, religion wont help one bit. god is not going to help you or anyone with money, homes, jobs, that is only a persons mentality. sure you can use it to benefit you. (start a convo with someone religious that u can use in the near future for something u might need) but other than that i don;t see a reason. (not even to get with a supper cute girl that is religious, why? they all believe in antecedence) my .02cents
ok, Craig, I think you're confused. I'm not catholic. Everything you're talking about is catholicism. As far as Christians hating gays. that's what the media tells you. Talk to Christians, not "Christian" politicians. Most are just stating to be Christian to get votes by christian conservatives. Christians will typical not approve of being gay, just as they won't approve of murder. Not the person, the action. I personally have gay friends. They know that I don't agree with their actions, but I also don't agree with a lot of my own actions. Tehy know I don't judge them. I won't say anything to them unless they ask. Let me post a little bit of my daily devotion for today in here, it's very applicable:
Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
When Jesus heard that, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."
Matthew 9:9-13
This story is an illustration for us that Jesus love goes into every nook and cranny in every part of the world. There is no place that Jesus love would not go; no person is too much of a sinner to be able to receive the love of Jesus. Yet the Pharisees still did not grasp the teachings of Jesus, so when they saw Jesus eating with the tax collectors and sinners they wanted to know why.
The Pharisees saw the tax collectors and sinners, but they didnt see the love and mercy that Jesus was demonstrating to them; their own spiritual pride was blinding them to their need for Jesus. May we not be like these Pharisees who took exception to Jesus eating with sinners, but may we be like Jesus who showed His love for the lost by sitting down and ministering to them.

As far as Christians hating gays for a vote is bs, lets face it compairing someone who murdurs people to someone who is gay is down right crazy, because nether can be justified as doing something wrong. Under the right circumstances some people would think killing was for the greater good of the earth (death row), but gays get punished for being what you belive is wrong and get their rights taken away by not being able to be married, it's their choice not ours.
How are you sure that the teachings of Jesus arn't just stories to live by but, like Pharisees, is just letting your spiritual pride getting in the way?
I have a question, why should it matter if we belive any religion, it proves nothing. If you're right, cool you're right, if you're wrong, **** you're wrong. Religions shouldn't be about beliving in a specific god or specific saviors of people because in the end if there is a god and he shows that he can forgive such as jesus did, then why should we bother beliving when in the end we'll end up having to belive.

I have had gay friends also. They knew I didn't float that way, and that I didn't approve of their lifestyle. But I didn't push them, and make them feel guilty. As long as they didn't push it onto me. I had no problem, that they were gay. Other than the fact, it is not natural. Tell me this, can 2 gay people make people? If they can just together. Then I will believe they are right. Otherwise of course not, it specifically says in the Bible, that a gay lifestyle, or doing it with animals is wrong. That is mainly what happened to Sodom and Gommorah. When God sent fire and brimstone to destroy it. Those 2 cities were so completely evil, that He had to destroy them.
Me personally I don't believe in what the Pope does or is. He is sort of acting like a God to a degree. I believe what the Bible says, and how I have been brought up. But I don't force anybody to agree with me. That is not the way to go about doing it.
All aside, as for the gays, they act like they are supreme to us. That is the main problem I have with them. They want a medal or something, because of their choice and lifestyle. I am not giving them, or treating them any different than a straight person. When it comes to that thought. And as for gay marriage, why don't we all just turn into fruitcakes? No thanks, I like being straight, and into women. Just like Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Sorry for that comment, but it peeves me, when people stick up for gays. I will not go out of my way, and beat any up. But according to the good book, I will not support them either. That is my opinion on this. Nobody be offended, this is a belief discussion. And everybody is going to have different views on it. But I will personally stand up, and fight for what I believe. If I feel what I stand for is being threatened.

Bravo WildmaN! I agree with what you're saying....and I agree that gay people think they are above straight people.....for example, why is there a Gay Pride parade? When are we having a Heterosexual Pride parade? Are we not worthy?

I'm just sick and tired of the political correctness thing in general. I'm sick of having to suck up to every minority out there. There ain't nothing wrong with being a white, male, heterosexual Christian...in fact I'm proud of it! Not only should there be a Heterosexual Parade but how about a White History month? Or how about a section in Wallmart for white books only....why not? theres a section for black only books, hell they have their own magazines...
I've got nothing against any monorities, I'm just tired of all the double standards and hypocracy out there. Michael Richards is a classic example....he was wrong for calling those guys n*ggers and should have apologized, which he did. But didn't those guys taunt him first? and didn't they call him a "cracker"? Thats OK? I mean wheres the apology from them? Total double standard IMO......

Good point Mike, glad to hear you are a Christian also. I do agree with some of your views about the other races getting more than they should. We should all be on an equal field with our origins. Nobody is better than the other. Whether you be white, black, indian, japanese, chinese, russian, german, etc... Well you get my point. I treat people equally, unless the individual gives me a reason to dislike them. Not the whole race, just that person. That is like saying I got a bad orange, so I am not going to eat anymore of them. Kind of a crude example, but I am sure you get my meaning. Just because you have a bad experience with something or someone. Doesn't mean you hate that race, or particular thing, whatever it may be.
And yes I believe is somebody is calling me an insulting name. Like Cracker, they should get to be called a n##ar. Anyway I believe that Adam and Eve weren't white either. But who knows? Only in the end will we know all the answers. Until then, just go by what the good book tells you to.
And where is that Heterosexual parade? LOL

Yeah I have heard of it, but never wanted to watch it. Figured I would be scarred for life. LOL. Anyway yeah you are not alone, there is probably more Christians, on here than we know. I have no problem in sharing my beliefs, and views.
