I'm gonna be a 89D (Explosive Ordnance Specialist). I am so stoked I get to blow stuff up, this will be some fun. I know its a little more dangerous than Mechanic (which is what I thought I wanted to do in the beginning) but I am ready for it. I leave on Feb 3rd for BT in Missouri and AIT for 10 wks in Alabama. Then I will most likely be posted in Ft Elgin Florida.

be prepared for mine training and sweeping, and LOTS of it but other then that its fun, until you actually have to destroy or disarm an IED, but hey its experience that makes life count!
