April 1st Virus?
Okay...I decided to upgrade to Firefox 3. And it is doing the same crap. It was doing the last time I installed it. I can't get into my Yahoo or my Hotmail. It is really pissing me off. And I am about to give the makers of Firefox a piece of my mind and then some. If anybody can help me or give tips. It would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not really...those are the only places I can't get into with Firefox 3. Why is it...I had Firefox 2. And didn't have any problems. But I upgrade to 3..and have all kinds of headaches. I really don't need.

Ok, when you put in Firefox did you make it the default browser (the answer should be yes)
Did you import your IE settings (I never do)
Make sure your Java is up to date
Make sure your flash player is up to date
Make sure you have Active X and it is up to date
Make sure your adobe reader is up to date
Check your firefox and see if those sites are blocked for some reason.
Go get CCleaner, pay attention when you put it in and only install what you need i.e. no toolbars. When I put in CCleaner, there are check boxes for things to put in, I put it in my start menu and I let it check for updates, that's it.

I'd try and help you but I'm running Win 7 so nothing's going to run the same.
I DID have a weird memory leak early this morning after midnight that kept stalling Firefox for no reason. It got really annoying but I didn't want to reboot so I switched to Opera until I went to bed. Was still there when I woke up so I rebooted and it was gone.

I just said screw it..and put Firefox 2 back on. No more problems. I tried downloading version 3 a couple of times. And Firefox 3 wouldn't allow me to get into my emails. It just kept going in a circle when I would try and sign in. Very annoying. And thx...I wouldn't know where to start with all that stuff. Thanks anyway man.
