anything with a salvage title is going to be a "good deal" just ask for reciepts of what was damaged and repaired and reported or no sale.

and TT as a DD for a gal? idk.... id get her an NA. or better yet not a Z32 in general lol.

oh also, pics or gtfo!

serious question tho, is how old is she?

what is the carfax going to tell you that you can't figure out?

Yeah exactly, I'm sure plenty of sellers would like to lie about why the car has a salvaged title.

From what I was told, all of the windows where busted out including the t-tops, the car was keyed and ****ed up to the point where they had to repaint it completely, and the interior was cut up and needed to be completely replaced, salvage titles don't mean **** to me, unless the chassis is bent beyond repair. my sis is 22, but she hops in the race cars every now and again. she's not like your girly *** snw, who wrecked a bike in a parking lot.

lol that was funny.

so what are you worried about then? take a look at the frame and see if it's still strait. i don't see what you think the carfax will tell you that you 1) can't figure out and 2) that you care about.

Lol, just got the carfax for it and it was salvaged once due to vandalism, then marked as a total loss. It has been marked as a gross polluter every other year it has been smogged since 2004, and the reported mileage was 193k and now it's magically 79k. hmm, something sounds fishy here..

yeah, prob swapped gauge clusters. pretty high miles, vandalism is no big at least, but if you gotta smog it and it is a gross polluter it might give you alot of **** there to in the future. i'd look elsewhere. and i'd really advise not using a TT as a DD. even if she is a bit more car/mechanically inclined than most girls. it just doesn't seem very practical, it is why i am not looking at TT's.

oh and hoov, your sis is 22? wth how old are you then? im 22 and thought you were like the same age as me for some reason...

No she's getting a TT, her commute to work is 2 miles and her commute to school is less then 4, even if the car fails to start, she has the two race cars and a little **** box escort as backups. She passed on that car and where going to look at another hopefully tomorrow. I'm going to be going through the wiring harness, all hoses, timing belt, tensioners/studs, HICUS elimination, newer style lower plenum and injectors..etc I'm 20 btw.

Ended up buying an aztec red, 90 TT. thing runs flawlessly except for two leaking injectors, but thats no biggie, since I'm going to replace the lower plenum and go to the newer style injectors when I do the timing belt next week.

Actually, I've only blown up one, which was due to a stretched timing belt. I've been doing wheel stud replacement all day today since 8am, fixed the PTU harness, put new plugs in, washed it, put new seats in it and all I have left is the timing belt, water pump, injectors and lower plenum.
