^ I agree. I have a 240 and a 350 parked next to each other in my garage...and there are similiarities and they're proportioned the same....its just that one is a 70s design and one is a modern design. Its my opinion also, the 350Z is a true Z in every way

I never called it "not a Z" I said it just didnt excite me like I had hoped. Its still a Z, and I hope it also gets to more Z appreciative people in the future like the z32 has, until then, the average 350z driver is sucking right now

Well, I can't speak for everybody, but I'm definitely a "Z appreciative" person, I've also owned a 280ZX and a 280Z in addition to my current Zs. But I'm sure you're right that there are 350Z owners out there who are trendy and have no appreciation of Z-car heritage.....and that might have something to do with the 7 year gap between the time they stopped making the Z32 and starting making the 350? Who knows? Anyway, I'm just saying there are 350 owners who are true Z-car enthusiasts out there like icice9 and myself.

and believe me...I am glad to hear there are z enthusiasts with the Z car, the way it should be. Its a shame that there is sooo many unworthy drivers that dont even know what a Z is

most hard core Z enthusiasts didnt start out that way.. a lot of them started out just like the very Z drivers you hate.. the ones that dont know anything about the Zs history.. they get a Z as thier first car and mayby take it for granted.. but after a few more years of owning the car they grow an appreation for the car and learn its history.. i know i started out that way.. after owning my first Z, there was no other car that could replace it for me.. so what if some 17 year old Kid who drives a 350z doest acknowledge you. but someday he will...

z cars blow, i dont even know why i talk with you guys

but umm.. honestly the Z32 isnt too much like any cars around its time if yah ask me... at least not any japanese or american cars, i dont know my 90's euro cars to well.

this argument is gay, 350z body wise is more like the original ... z32 is a league all on its own, everything esle (besides the z31 outcast hehe) they got the true Z spirit, its that simple.... now SHEEAAAATTTT UUUUUUPPPP!!!

yea, I like all the models of Z-cars. I have my preferences on some but they're all my friends!

Okay I am going to put my say in this. I like '70-'83 Z's. and that is all. After they did away with the nostalgic round headlights. To me it was no longer a original true "Z" But I am not saying that any Z after '83 isn't a Z. Just to me, it isn't the true nostalgic Z, without the round headlights. And it also doesn't mean, I am going to put your Z down, because it is not one I like. I would just never own one past '83. And never would I own any Z with more than 2 seats. But no offense to anybody, this is my opinion. And what makes me different, and stick out in the crowd. Okay I have said my peace.

^I agree WildmaN, they definitely lost something when they switched from the round "sugar scoop" headlights to the generic pop-up headlights in '84. The early Zs will always look the coolest.
