SERto350Z

Hey everybody,

I just joined this forum because I currently own a 2006 Nissan Altima SE-R and frankly it just is not doing it for me. I've had it for about two years and put only 25k miles and change on it.

Recently I began to check out the 350Z in depth and I found it to be much more appealing than my current ride. Specifically, the Grand Touring package with the updated engine for 2007.

Basically what I want to ask is what the baseline price for a Grand Touring model would be, any problems with the new engine or with the 2007 350Z's in general.

And most importantly, I'm 6'4, will I fit comfortably in the 350Z?

i know there are some clutch recalls on certain vin ranges

Check Edmunds. The prices for used models seem a little low, but I guess it depends on the condition.

Some early 2007 models had faulty slave cylinders. Nissan issued a voluntary recall back in December 2007. If you are looking to purchase a Z and the VIN falls within the range involved, just ask if the recall was performed and if they could provide the dealer invoice.
