2 big newses!

1, i got pulled over for the first time today. bitchin yea! the bummer was that it was for window tint, and i was only going about 1-2 mph over the limit. he tested the tint and it came out as 45% with a technical legal limit of 57. right on. i had a new life experience, without having to loose my lisense! (which would hav happened if i had gotten a ticket for speeding at all. or any ticket for that matter).

2nd order of business: new black dragon came in today! not much surprise here, but does anyone know where i can score a black dragon T-shirt?

Is that a trick question? If there is such a thing as BDA t-shirts, you would prolly get them from BDA.

I hate cops doing crap like that. I'm pretty sure there would be a noticeable difference when you're 12% below the limit. If there isn't a difference I think he should still just pull people over that have ridiculously tinted windows, if you're below the limit they shouldn't be deemed too dark by a cop.
I could understand if he pulled someone over for 80% or something like that.

yea i thought the same thing. you can see my face through them, so they are usually ok like that. but he was nice about it at least. my 2nd career choice is a state trooper too. mostly because i'm so sick of cops getting power hungry and turning into A-holes. i've had a few bad run-ins around here because of one of those kind. i just want to do it how i think it should be done. and that's probably what i will do when i can't pass engineering in college!

for a single section it's pretty good. well above average. well VA state police don't care what you get your degree in, as long as you have one. so i doubt i'd be into crim justice

well, maybe for being just a deputy, if you want to be someone in the police though it would be different.

maybe. the cop i asked likes to use the example: "they don't care if you majored in basket weaving, they just want you to have a degree".

If you've never had a ticket before, why would you lose your license on your first offense?

nah, it's not the noob issue, its that my insurance is already 750 or something 2x a year. so if i got a ticket at all, it goes up more, and i can't afford it. since you have to be on the insurance policy of some vehicle as long as you have your license, i would have to give mine up and sell the car to pay for everything

One ticket doesn't guarantee that your insurance will go up. It's excessive traffic violations / accidents that will make your payments increase.

my company pretty much said that it would go up if i got a ticket. i had an accident (my fault) in which i didn't even get a ticket, but insurance went up a lot anyway
