Hey all, im new to forums but a long time z lover. In the process of completing work on my 85 300zx, I stumbled upon a parts car that I ended up picking up the other day. I got it for the interior mainly and hopes to swap the trans as mine is only an auto. I swapped the interior but thats not to say that mine was shot to begin with... I just had a split dash missing t-top molding, and a couple of spots on the drivers seat, but because i was going from a tan interior to somewhat grey i just switched everything over. I also needed a passanger side mirror. So...needless to say everything else that is on the parts car is still there as well as my tan interior and a new oem black center console lid.

The guy I got it off of said it ran and drove when he parked it because of the unibody begining to rust out.The sparkplug wires were chewed on by squirels but i intend on hooking up a set tommorow to see if it can start and run.

The trans shifts and holds and my guess is that it is good.

The body is full of rust on quater pannels and doors as well as rocker panels. Has no breaks as they rusted away from sitting. The hood,front bumpercover , headlights, hatchback, and fenders are imaculate and still has the clear coat intact.

If anyone would like to offer a price on cosmetic parts, or the car minus an interior, or everything just let me know. I will try and get pics up asap.

I have an 85 zx with tan interior. Need to replace the Hatch/fuel door release lever. Mine lost the plastic cap. Do you still have the lever assembly from your old interior?

 

I need an intake coupling lol the one that connects the z shaped pipe to the pipe with the MAF sensor would u happen to have a spare lol

Rear brake caliper brackets? Both left and right. Don't need the calipers, just the brackets.
