I am attempting to see what I may be able to get for my 1980 280zx. I have been driving it to school for a semester and just recently there is a short somewhere I have absolutely no time to find. It was painted yellow by the previous owner and has a little rust on the roof and a little on the hood. It has about 130000 miles on it and besides the fact that it needs to be jumped because of the electrical short, it runs excellent. pics can be seen at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2467623 . I dont have time for an older car and would like it to go to someone who will take care of it. I will need the money for something more realistic while in college.

 

It looks like it's in pretty good shape. The jumping issue... could be a dead battery or corroded terminals? You could easily get $2k-$3k for it. List it on craigslist as well.

 

Thats good to hear. 3000 would make me happy and hopefully get me in a decent enough financial state to get something more realistic for the remainder of college
