Every question you asked is answered in the post...

107,000 miles on the turbo engine and $200 T5. You can see in the pics they are still attached. Nothing else is included except what is stated. There is no actual turbo for sale. The block and head pictured comes with no manifolds, accessories, or wiring. That is why it is only $200. If it was a fully complete L28 turbo with T5 it would be closer to $800.

So assuming I'm going to do a complete motor rebuild anyways, what advantage does this turbo block give over my current NA block. I know, I'll still have to get the turbo, manifold, ecu, injectors etc. Can I just rebuild my current block with the added turbo accesories? I'm also assuming that the T5 tranny will bolt up to my current block and drive shaft, correct? Be patient with me guys, I'm old.

the pistons in the turbo block are dished. They have different rings which work better for higher compression. The dish lowers the static compression so it can take more boost.
With 107K miles I wouldn't even rebuild this. Just replace the timing chain set, head gasket, and call it good.

Then you'd have the oil pan you need with the return pipe on the side, turbo style oil pump (higher pressure)

but... shipping an engine by freight is maybe $200-300 itself. are you sure there's nothing closer?

Yes a T5 bolts to any L-series engine. I ran a T5 on my NA engine for a while before the turbo engine swap.
