I have an E31 head w/o uper valve train (cam / rockers) The head has not been checked out (directly out of the bone yard) / would need a valve job, but visually, looks good. If anyone is interested, let me know and we can work something fair out in the way of a price. If not, I'll hold it and rework later.

Hi Txz - I was hoping to get at least $75 bucks for the head. If you have parts, we could maybe work a trade (I'm working on the interior and body of my 70 model now). The head needs the upper v train (cam and rockers) and a valve job, but it looks pretty good (no visible damage, corrosion or cracks. The valves themselves are still in place and look good also). Regarding shipment or transport, we could talk about that if you are still interested in either purchasing or a part swap.

No problem. I have the E31 and the E88 in my garage collecting dust, so they could both go if we can figure out movement and if one of you guys wanted the E88 instead of the E88.

Woops --I mean E88 instead of the E31. To be honest with you guys, I'm stuck here until at least the beginning of the year, because the rest of this month and December is crazy. I think shipping and/or pick up would be my only option until after December.

Lol, no worries, Chief. Hmmmmm, yall are a lot closer than I realized, I'm in Corpus. Anyhoo, how far south from Houston are you? I like visiting Huntsville, San Ann, and soon-to-be Kerrville a whole lot and would love to stop by, if not for the head, at least to say hi and hello and take a peek at your 240Z, I luuuuuuuuuuv the first gen's. Zchief, I was hoping for a lower cost since I would have to source a cam and related parts ($$$) seperately. Though we can probably work something out...

I do not have much in the way of spare parts any more since I sold both my parts cars last October.

GypZ, I'm in Austin so if you are in the area on the way to/from anywhere just let me know...I too have a series I 240Z.

ZChief, now that the holidays are behind us and maybe the nasty ice please let me know if you have any plans on being in Austin. I'd like to see if we can finalize this deal.

I'll be in Gruene in June floating down the Guadalupe River, but I do not have any plans at the moment to road trip in that direction. A trip is possible in late February, but that's still up in the air. Did we ever agree on a price or part swap?

We didn't get a final price on the head and I don't really have any parts to trade these days as mentioned above.

I'm not in a big hurry (obviously! hahaha) so June is fine with me. That's only about a 45-60 minute drive from my place depending on time of day/day of week/etc so I would certainly be glad to meet up with you then or when ever you are in the central Tx area.

Wow, I wasn't too sure this post still existed. Well i have like 3 motors right now and one of them is a turbo, and that is taking up all my time so i no longer need that head, sorry. Hehe, well sorry for not updated on here that much anymore, I don't have a computer at the moment so that kinda messes things up for me too. Anyhoo, anytime yall are in the corpus christi let me know and we can meet up at like a starbucks or have lunch or something.
