beautiful 1972 florida 240z

After much deliberation I decided to put my beautiful Z up. 1972, with 143,000 miles. Vin is HLS3038899. A lot of powdercoat work on engine, also ceramicoated 6-2-1 header, followed by a resonator, magnaflow muffler, and the vertical tips everyone loves so much, altogether makes a great flowing, beautiful sounding exhaust. Intake is a k&n filter with a custom metal plate, powdercoated. I still have the stock orange intake, also. Motor has seen a rebuild from Z specialists in tampa within the last 5 years, and runs just great. Upgraded the points for the 280zx electronic distributor (1978). Upgraded to electric fuel pump, and put a polished billet block off plate over the mechanical pump. 4 speed car, all fluids just changed, tune up just done. A beautiful rust free Florida z. Car has also been repainted its original blue recently. Of course has the stock l24 with roundtop carbs. Car has been rebadged with brand new fairlady z badges from nissan on the fenders and hatch. I also took the liberty of getting rid of the old piston a/c compressor and associated parts and replacing with the complete kit (rotary compressor) that Nissan offers, blows cold without using very much power at all, a "must-do" upgrade (esp in Florida). Currently located in the Cocoa area. Looking for 7,800 OBO for this beautiful car. Please do not hesitate to email me and bring offers. I am more than happy to answer questions regarding the car, and hope that it goes to a good home. I recently had the car appraised for $12000, I realize what our market is truly like and know that we'll never see the time and money invested. I have been happy to win the awards that this car has brought but must make room for a new project. Any questions, offers, etc, please ask!

Beautiful car! But what's with the "Fairlady" badges? That's like putting a TURBO badge on a Ford Taurus.

the old datsun badges were not in very nice condition, i figured, eh, the US dealerships took the badges off when they came off of the boats (sometimes at dealerships from what i was reading), so why not. best part about badging the z is that the datsun ones are still for sale, the badges are not glued on as they have clips that hold them, and nothing needs to be patched up to put the us badges back on.

Beautiful car.

I suggest putting it up for sale on Orlandoforums.com

I would definitely buy this if I wasn't a poor kid.
