1982 Datsun 280ZX 2+2 Classic, NEW Parts
For Sale: 1982 Datsun 280ZX 2+2 GL (Grand Luxury, top model)
-Located in Bothell, WA (25 miles north of downtown Seattle)
-145K Miles on the Odometer
-Clean Washington Title
-Nearly All Original Parts
-Power Steering
-Air Conditioning (doesn't work now, everything is there, needs a recharge and AC compressor clutch fixed)

Seats Re-upholstered, not exact original look but looks great.
Driver's seatbelt doesn't retract all the way (still works and doesn't cause a problem, just a minor issue)
Brand New Carpet (not OEM, but custom tan color)

Brand New Black Cherry Pearl Paint (looks black in the dark and marroon/red in sunlight)
99% Rust Free
Body is 99% straight, just a few minor inperfections (just a few tiny scratches)
If you get it professionally buffed, it will be a mirror shine and show quality
Side Mouldings not on the car, but included (I think it looks better without them)
Door Jams painted same color as exterior
Turbo Model Hood (has hood scoop for turbo)
T-tops Don't Leak (glass has cracks that don't cause problems, just don't look good)
Very Nice Silver/Gold OEM Wheels
Front Tires are 50%, one rear tires is 40% and other is 10% (bald but still legal)
I'm selling this car because I buy and sell cars for a living. I completely went over the whole car and replaced any parts that needed replacing. You will notice that I'm very honest in this ad, so there are no surprises and all information is clear. This is a great Classic Car for a collector (the value keeps increasing), or you can have this as a weekend car. NADA lists this 280ZX as average retail of $6125 and high retail of $9600. It gets 20-30 MPG and is extremely reliable. This car isn't "mint," but with a little work can be made to be. It's not a show car, but with some buffing/polishing it can be. The tabs expired in March, but if you decide to make it a weekend car only and get classic car insurance, you don't need to buy tabs ever again. Price is $3,500 FIRM. Might be interested in partial trade for Honda or Acura (I need at least $3000 cash on top of a car). You can come take a look and hear it run, but you must have cash-in-hand to test drive (you hang onto the money, but I want to make sure you are serious and have the money at that time.
