d90 d2x or d700?

well my being disappointed for the last time by my $100 point and shoot camera i have narrowed it down to these three camera's now the lenses and everything else is going to be purchased separately, any advice would be appreciated.

D40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11


just fyi nikon and cannon are the only 2 companies to even bother looking at for best quality in camera's. next step below is olympus and then everything else below that

^^^ Big x2. Tho I'm saving my pennies for the 1DS MK II or MK III .... drool.... Canon D40 & D50 rock... The Rebel is good if you are limited to less than $1k.

i believe EVERYONE in this thread said they used a D40, and this is what they were able to produce. so i see no need to spend for the D90. and yeah, i really mean that in that just about all of them said D40. crazy i know...

plus the d90 is only $1k and well when it comes to equipment i dont skimp out.

I have a D90 and it is very capable. You can get them slightly used from KEH in Atlanta for a great price. The amount of in-camera processing is you can do amazing too.
