Leyland alum V8
Gday I was checking through the Trading post ads last week
and there was a 240z advertised with a leyland V8, has anyone seen this conversion done before, I think the 4.4 ltr V8 in the P76 had an aluminium block & heads perhaps one of you guys might know more about this motor ,all i can vaguely remember is that it was a stroked version of the Rover
3.5 ltr V8 , posibly Buick before that, Ive heard of it in a few off road racing buggies and also in ski boats, seems like it could possibly be a very good power to weight instalation. anyway its more food for thought. catch you later.
