Hey Guys, I'm after the advice of a Sydney based Z Guru... Took a look today at a Very nice looking 240 with a 302 Windsor V8, owner has all engineering certificates, more concerned about the body... looks clean, but want to make sure I've checked out all the problem areas

(car was in this weeks Trading Post, here is the ad... DATSUN 240Z 5 litre V8 Windsor, forged high compression pistons, super flow heads, cam fully balanced, lightened flywheel, Centreforce clutch, 650cfm carby, Edelbrock performer manifold, Mallory ignition, Supra 5 speed, IRS 2 + 2 260Z back end with Ford 9in diff centre, custom extractors, 10 stack CD amplifier, Momo wheel, B45 polished Simmons, central locking, alarm, K-Mac suspension, fully engineered, 3 months rego, body excellent, $11000 or near offer, XQP-897 )

Any Tips on areas I should pay particular attention to?

Any experts out there keen on meeting up and checking it out with me?

I saw the ad too - the 302 would make a nice fit, at least the dizzy isn't in the way...

Rust (speaking from experience):
lower guards, lower doors, chassis rails, floors, above taillights (esp left side), radiator support panel, door sills, sill dogleg (in front of rear wheel) & the spare wheel area.
