After-Dealer Warranty
After-Dealer Warranty
I am looking to buy a new car, but the Vette I am looking at doesn't have any warranty left, and therefore, I cannot get the GM Extended Service Plan. I contacted several after-dealer places, and found a good deal at AceWarranty.com. Has anyone had any experience with these guys or others that are good and will cover a Z06? I am trying to make sure I don't get ripped off...
What year Z06? When a bought my truck, I looked into the '99 and the '01, but for the price, a brand new car made more sense when you factored in the price of the extended warranty. Yes, the new one was more expensive, but I thought it was well worth it for the peace of mind. Plus, you can generally get a better interest rate on a new car loan as opposed to a pre-owned car loan. Just a thought.
And to answer your question, I've never heard of AceWarranty. My Dad was an extended powertrain warranty inspector, so he worked in this field. I asked him and he had never heard of them. He's been retired for 4 years, so that doesn't really mean that they're not good, or bad.
