Twin Turbo Available for HR Engine!!!

Performance Factory in Orlando Florida is the first outfit to have a running twin turbo charged VQ35HR in the hands of a customer. The 2007 350Z has been outfitted with a modified VQ35DE turbo kit which at this time has been tuned and boosted to 8.3 PSI. This configuration resulted in a DynoJet maximum horsepower rating in excess of 460 with a stock engine block!!!

Performance Factory has stated that it will be happy to do it again for any other potential customers willing to part with $12,000!!!

If anyone is interested in boosting your HR you can reach Performance Factory at the following site:

Actually, that's 460 RWHP... Stock is 260 - 270 RWHP. So that's $12,000 for 190 - 200 RWHP!! LOL

ya, lets see all the 460whp L28's built for under $6000. Actually, how many have that kind of power at any price? Maybe two that I've seen.

8psi is just a starting point. There are Z's and G35's here in WA that get 400-600whp at the dynos days I've been to just in the last year.

what about bigphil? his car made i guess 450whp and im pretty sure he doesnt have more than 6k in it. its just not necessary, build your MS for 400 all new turbo setup for maybe 1k i know he has a stock head and stock NA 5spd dont know about the lower end max 2k into that though MAX cause they are so simple and IC for 1k then tune for 200 on the dyno. do Z math!

I really doubt BigPhil made that much power. (is he running 30psi now?)
I did hear of him blowing head gaskets at 18psi but I've not known an L28 to pull even 400whp on 18-20psi
- - -
I looked up Phil's newest video.
341whp at 23.7psi
His electronics alone cost more than a grand. You could ask him how much he has spent on the engine thus far.

Phil's friend runs 402whp at 17psi and less torque. That guy must have a much better flowing head.

Isn't Phil running meth injection and race gas too?

the VQ35HR can do 460whp on 8psi with pump gas... and you still have side impact protection!
(and headlights that work)

ive never seen a car need race gas until about 25 psi nor meth until over that. so i doubt it. but he coulda used like c16 or something for slightly better numbers.

but taking in weight considerations, i bet that car will rip the TTHR a new one

oh, and 350Z = chick car lol lol

That's what Phil has. Watch his videos. The head design on the L-series is not adequate to run regular fuel at those boost levels.

110whp is more than adequate to pull the extra 500lbs of car.

oh, and BANNED! lol lol

Maybe your 25psi DSM friends like detonation. High octane fuel is needed with high compression ratios... the higher the boost, the higher the CR. 25psi would be over 18:1 CR.

like i said, 18-20 psi tune they run pump gas abouve it they usually start doing c16 or similare its normally after 25psi where meth become a want. but i posted a video of a 1000hp pump gas DSM with meth injection. so im just saying, he has a 17 or 18 psi tune i doubt he really needs either of those yet as long as its tuned right.

TT kit

So if there was another turbo kit that was a lower price you would be interested? I am working on one right now but its still in the launch phase so it wont be ready for 6-12months, Ill keep you posted though.

I read that Forged Performance of Atlanta GA is also working on a TT kit for the VQ35HR. They will most likely come in a tad cheaper than Performance Factory, which will cause PF to lower their price, and so on. Competition, Supply and Demand makes the world go round.

BTW, who are you anyway?
