Kits to colors

I saw a sunset lemans 350 with a kaminari kit and the upgraded hood to fit the stillen SC at the track today...looked awfully sweeet. I also talked to a guy that had a brickyard 350z. I have to say...the brickyard is by far the best color for the 350 IMO. Why did they get rid of it?!? What's some other good kits and favorite colors you guys have?

My favorite color has always been Brickyard.
I have not yet seen a front air dam that I liked on the 350Z. One that lengthens the front end would be nice, but the one kit that does that just look awful. I have seen a rear spoiler I liked. It was a flat 'wing' that flowed right off the back end of the car. Might have been Stillen.

HAve you seen the kaminari kit? I don't think it's too bad. This is the rear spoiler I think you were talking about:

And here's the kaminari kit:

And now that I see it in a picture, it doesn't look very good either (the front at least), but in person it was very eyecatching and clean at the same time.

Brickyard is a great color, tried to get my roadster in brickyard but had to settle for black on black. Black looks great when it's real-real clean, and I try and keep it that way.

I concur. You get that deep look when dark colors are real clean.

Yup, I love that color so much I hope I can get it to paint my 280ZX soon.

Yes, that Kaminari spoiler is the one I saw in person that I liked. It was on a black 350Z on the freeway.

The factory 'spoiler' looks like some stick-on you could get from JC Whitney!

OK, this is the one thing that I don't like about the Z33. The door handles. Why billet? I'm sure some of you like it, but on dark colors, it doesn't seem to fit. It doesn't stop the Z33 from being a gorgeous car, but I think it would flow a lot better without a billet handle. On Zs that are silver or something like that...it doesn't look too bad, but on stuff like black...it's too much of a contrast IMO. Like brickyard...I think it's such a cool color, but so dark to shinny metal...too much.

If that's the case emo, then why not remove the "Z" badge on the fender as well. Someone could argue that it also breaks up the lines, flow, or color of the car. I personally don't mind it. To me it's just basically a cue on how badly I want to get into it and that's my starting point. By opening the door.

You're comparing oranges and apples bro. The Z badge is something A LOT different than the door handles....the badge is subtle and fits in. But if you like it...cool. I was just wondering if I was alone on my opinion as far as you guys go.

I don't think it's apples and oranges in the respect that, the subject was the visual deterrance of the items. The first thing that drew my eye away first from the car in the pic above was the emblem. Then the door handle.
The thing you were originally complaining about was the color. The emblem is the same color as the door handle. So naturally in dark colored cars, lighter colored parts will naturally draw your eye/attention.
That sound right?

Yea, I guess. It's not just the color that I was talking about though (not complaining being that I don't own one to complain about), it was the whole thing of it. I've heard A LOT of other people not liking it as well....including Z33 owners. It's also quite bulky....take a look at your Z32 handles and see how they kinda flow with the car and don't stick out or ubstruct the lines....it's also right along a line of the car while the emblem is the same idea as a fender signal light. I guess I'm not a huge fan of those either, but it looks alright to me.

Le Mans is the only color out there.
