So we're almost done with the swap (even though i've been saying that for like 2 weeks now...), everything is good to go, just need to pour in fluids, put exhaust back on, toss in the radiator and hook up the harness...
only thing is that we're using my old NA harness, with about 93k miles on it, and it's not in the best of shape...actually, it's in real rough shape. i need to know where i can get one for a relatively decent price...any suggestions? i could only find it on z1motorsports.com, and that was like $350...is this the cheapest i'll find it? i plan on calling a few dealers tomorrow to see what they sell it for, as a comparison to what i'd be paying if i went through Z1...just wanna see what the difference is.

I don't think you will find new ones any cheaper.

 

I have the Z1 harness and IMHO it was money well spent. Not sure if it's a factory harness with their name but it fit great with no trouble at all even with my motor in the car for the swap.

 

Z1 carries a harness? where is it on the site...i searched all over it, is it in the oem 300zx section of the performance section? please enlighten me...

Why not get it from CZP? $20 cheaper and they can't be beat as far as customer service.

 

I do beleive that is the same as the Z1 harness which would lead me to believe it's factory. Either way you go it's a great replacement and well worth the money. IMHO
