What Can I Leave Off???
It feels great to be back. So I just picked up a 92 300zx 2+2 for $350 not running. Did a compression check, it's not good. Now I'm getting ready to fix the heads and would like to know, what can I leave off? 
Like the 25 water line to the TB, or I only need to pass a fart test at smog, so the EGR? Or will that make the check eng light come on? I was looking here under the search eng, but didn't see much. 
If I don't need it, or it's not needed, I what it off... Thank you

probably to be safe the only thing you can leave off is the coolant lines and EGR. everything else i would hook back up. the coolant lines are not "needed" for the intake manifold, but were put there for a purpose. its up to you i guess...
