Water Pump Gasket

So I had the maintenance done about a year ago, the whole timing belt/water pump thing and what not. And it turns out that im leaking right behind the drive pulley, which im assuming is where the water pump gasket sits. Is this easy enough to fix myself or do make an appointment with the place I got the maintenance done and be with out a car for a week or more.

I have some mechanical knowledge, I mostly do all the work my self, im just iffy about messing with the whole water pump timing situation.

Let me know, thanks.

I would try to get the place that did the work to honor any warranty that they may have.

It's not that hard to do, but you'll need to pull the radiator, crank pulley & t-belt covers to get to the pump. There are write-ups to follow as long as you have the tools. You'll need to buy, rent or borrow a puller.

just buy a pulley puller if you plan on having a Z.they're not expensive and you'll use it many times. It's not hard, but see if they will honor they're warranty.

Wont honor the warranty since its been a year but the shops pretty cool and the guy said he wont leave me hanging since they did the work. I dont expect them to screw me at all.

But... thats the least of my worries now, considering some douche bag lady hit my car the other day hard enough to snap off the front tire and destroy my fender. What an awesome life I live.

Wow....knocked off the front wheel?!? That's sounds like some major suspension work. You want to make sure you take it shop that knows their sh*t.
