turbo installtion on my Z
#3
I just completed this task. I pulled my engine out and replaced them. I've heard it's possible, but I wouldn't want to deal with the frustration of trying to disconnect and reconnect everything with it sitting up against the firewall.
I pulled my motor out just high enough to replace them. Left tranny hooked up to motor and all. For myself I think this is the easiest way.
I've pulled my motor so many times its become second nature to me. So my vote would be pull the motor.
