Hello all. New here, hope this is technical enough, I have a 95 convertible. About a week ago the trunk just will not open. Master key does nothing, it wont allow me to turn it. Remote button is pushed, it sounds like the motor inside is trying (it grunts) but the trunk will not pop- same for the console button in the glove box. Any ideas as to what it could be or any similar problems/fixes? What would be the most non-invasive method to fix this?

Try a little closing pressure on the boot lid to take the stress off the lock and then hit the remote release again.

 

2nd that idea... there aren't many ways to go about resolving that issue, unfortunately.
