Tranny question..

Ok my Z32 has an auto tranny.. I've just noticed today.. while I was giving it a spin, that the tranny is doing a kinda strange thing.. when I'm driving there seems to be nothing wrong.

But whenever I shift from Park to Drive.. or from Neutral to Drive.. or from any given position to another.. the tranny takes like 2 seconds to engage into place.. and when it does you can feel this loud "thump" that you feel really hard..

At the moment I don't have time to get it checked.. but I'll see if I can drain the tranny fluid and look for any metal pieces in it..

Any input on this situation?..

Sounds like your about to need a new tranny. You could try a transmission flush. One that replaces all the fluid, not just some. Your local dealer should have such a machine.
