so there it is..a JDM 300zx front clip...goin for 2000 bucks...and when i read the details it says that its an automatic tranns..so this popped out, if i was to make the conversion to a TT but my Z is STD an the CLip is AUT...would it be money not well spent..cause the ECU will not be of much help wouldnt it?.. would i have to look elsewere for a STD front clip or go with that one..any opinion would me much better than nuttn...

You're right in a way. Most JDM clips come to the USA with automatic trannies. If you're gonna do a TT swap you will need to upgrade your ECU anyway because the fuel map and injectors are different. Z1 can reprogram any ecu to be configured for either a TT, NA, 5spd, Auto..etc. With this they can also add their ecu upgrade at the same time.

Do u have a NA car or TT right now? Are u planning on doing a TT conversion?

well the thing is this...i found a 1991 n/a 300ZX 5spd, it needs a new engie and its selling for 2000 bucks (i cant pass this one), and i was thinking that while im in the process of buying a new engine, why not do the conversion, it might as well be a little more money but once the Z revives... it will have a Twin Turbo engine on it. a second chance of life with a better heart..so thats why i posted this threat...what do you think?

Personally, 2k for a blown n/a isnt a great deal. I picked mine up in running condition for 3500, and even that was more then i could have paid for a 5spd TT that was a few hours away. Id try to talk it down to atleast 1500, otherwise, the price of the car and the price of the swap combined isn't worth it. You'd be better off spending a little bit more and trying to find a TT that is around 5-7k, plus it'd be a whole hell of a lot cheaper in the end. The combined price of the car w/ the motor would probably be almost double that of a 5k TT, I suggest just looking around a little bit more.
