Stock Fuel Pump

Stock Fuel Pump

ok guys, need to know what size is the fuel pump on our cars, and is it nessary to change it (meaning upgrade and where could i get one) or should i just replace it. really looking for size of the pump meaning wat is the out put on lbs

You will never get to a point where the stock TT fuel pump is insufficient... in fact, a lot of high horsepower Supras use the stock Z32TT fuel pump. I don't know the flow rate, but I know that I rarely hear of someone needing to replace it because of the fuel demand being too great. (People have done over 800rwhp with the stock pump.)

Damn, thats tight, ya i read alot of cars use the pump, but do ya think i should gone head and replace it just fo the hell of it since i swapped i the tt motor

Do you have so much money growing outta ya ace that you want to replace the fuel pump for the hell of it??? You do know it's a pain in the *** job to do, right?

lol, ight i feel ya on that. But my deal is that my body and adding my fuel tank has bout 160,000 miles on it and when goin more performance i would rather have changed it now before i gett into the upgrades and come up short with cash ya feel me on that

just to clarify, since you said you swapped the TT motor, it was a TT before, right? Meaning, you do have a TT fuel pump (not an NA pump) in there right now?

There's no reason to replace it if it isn't dead.

na i did a conversation, so it has a NA fuel pump. So thats wat im sayin should i change it out and with the TT fuel pump fit right in place

if your car was originally an NA and if you still have the NA pump, you should replace it with the TT pump. They are different and the TT will be an upgrade you NEED to do.

Absolutely right... don't boost on an NA pump.
