These cars don't have BOV's...they have recirculation valves. Why would you want to do that?

WOW im sorry for asking a that question. i also dont know why people give me such smart *** answers. a simple no you cant really do that would have been fine. And one more thing can someone explain to me the diff between a bov and a recirculation valve im dieing to know because they perfrom basically the same function.

they were just wondering why you were thinking of taking off the recirc valves.
taking off the recircs and not replacing them with bovs would damage the turbos

heres a little info about them

I was just talking about the tube that goes from the valve back to the intake not taking off the whole valve. i know that would mess up the turbo bc the air would go back toward them when the butterfly is closed. All i want to know is would i be able to hear anything and is it going to cause my car to stall or act up. I want to hear them bc i dont like haveing a quiet car and i have no money to do anything right now bc my other car was stolen.

That has been debated. No one that I know of has ever gone back to the recircs after installing bovs. Those who have them lov'em. Although I don't know for sure as I havn't driven my car since mine have been put in, some say that they will increase boost response. They have better airflow capacity than the stock recircs(for higher hp Z's) and if people think it's rice then whatever -->pssht sound>goose honk anyway IMO To each their own though

Nothing that was said initially by Godzilla, Bardabe or myself was smartass, but you asked for it.....

I personally would rather have something that is fast instead of loud. You have a Twin Turbo....Here's a newsflash for you.....it'll never be loud unless you remove the exhaust system entirely. If you wanted something loud, then maybe you should've bought a Civic with one of those coffee can mufflers. What you're talking about doing, even if it doesn't cause any damage to your car, is total RICE! To make something louder without realizing any performance gain whatsoever is utterly ridiculous. My .02.

ok im done i dont want to hear any more of it. i will just keep it how it is untill i have money to start doing stuff. everyone else is right and i am wrong i can live with it. one thing that really makes me mad about forums is that you will never get the right answer without someone making some type of comment thaat is not related to the topic. i think i will just call a Z shop for any of my Q's for now on.

That makes sense.....go talk to someone who's primary objective is to sell you as much stuff as they can; whether you need it or not. Nobody here said anything smartass until you starting acting like a child.
