Something weired happened to me the other day

Was cruising from work and had to pull over to take a phone call. Had my foot on the brakes all the time and all of a sudden the "lights" warning indicator on the dash starts to flickker - don't recall if it was the high beam or the stop/tail indicator. I checked and all bulbs are fine. Could my brake light have been "overloaded?" I have tried to duplicate the problem - no luck!!

One of your bulbs is out. You have 2 bulbs in each tail light and 3 (maybe 4) in the third brake light, so it may be hard to tell. (I think the third brake light on the 90-93TT has 3 bulbs and the NA has 4, but I could have that backwards.)

you are correct, 3on 90-93 TT's 4 on all N/A's and 94+ TT's

Thanks, I'll check all the bulbs.

So far, it hasn't happened again.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Might've been a loose connection on a bulb that corrected itself.

That's been my approach thus far. I had my wife check all lights while I was in the car and everything looked fine. However, I don't believe she'd detect 1 of 3 bad bulbs in the break lights. So fo now, as long as I don't have a screaming warning light on the dash, I'll not investigate.

Darn, I can't believe I already have over 4K on this car since Dec. 31, 07! I just love driving this car, and since we don't have any real winter here and several long straightaways with no cops, it's been a blast learning the Z32TT's dynamics! Just seems like I have an infinitely long learning curve!!!!!
