Safety mode?
Safety mode?
Hello.
I bought a 90 300zx tt last year and have been trying to fix it so i can use it during summer days.
Have replaced flywheel, clutch, timing belt and most oils.
But it seems like the car is running on safe mode.
Only have about 0,4 0,5 bar boost.
Have checked ecu for codes and the only one showing is 55.
Have found a few loose hoses, fixed those.
But as i was going over all the hoses i saw that the previous owner have deleted the fuel damper. It seems the oem fuel regulator is still in use.
Can this cause the low boost?
The car stall from time to time. Not too often but it happens.
Have not tested for air leaks yet other than wiggling hoses and tightening loose ones.
Parts for this car is relatively hard to come by here in Norway, so i have to order from other countries which can be really expensive.
Hope someone can enlighten me with how to possible fix my car or how to do a decent trouble search.
