Punctuation would help too. As B said,...try the search function. There are so many things that can cause these cars to run poorly.

It allows you to search for previously discussed topics. 99.99999999% of all basic problems have already been talked about, it just takes a couple mouse clicks to find them.

How to search:

Click on the SEARCH link & click on ADVANCED SEARCH:

Select the forum you want to search in (Z32 section) and then type in specific words that will narrow down the topics.

If that turns out to be what the problem is you're going to have to buy another one. You can replace it yourself, but you need to position the sensor itself, correctly

well it turns out to be my air flow meter, yeah it was the shortage of air circulations that was causing my engine to have problems. I ordered parts to get it fixed soo maybe in a few days my Z is gonna be up and running again. thanks for all the help ppl

or try some MAF cleaner first. it may just be very dirty unless this happened all at once by any chance. cleaning mine actually made a difference in how the car ran. but mine wasn't that bad to begin with

I think I've found your primary problem.

This problem doesn't lend itself well to 300zx ownership.

get MAF cleaner at any auto parts store and take the intake box off and spray this **** on the MAF. don't touch the little sensor part inside though. and don't break all the screen that's there. pretty important in my opinion

an aerosol can. like hairspray or WD-40, and like water when it comes out. yes, just spray it on the sensor. (inside the sensor that is). the can does have instructions

No offense bro, but really... you can SEARCH and find the answer to your questions just as easy as typing them on here. All your questions are so basic & have been covered MANY times.

Check this... I went to www.google.com and typed in MAF CLEANER and got this:

I'm guessing it's his IQ. O.o is just slightly below 0.0. If I remember correctly, Forrest Gump's was 73.

6.67 standard deviations below the mean... that's not too bad. lol
