Radiator hoses swelling

hello everyone,

i have a TT motor in a n/a body and i want to know why there is so much pressure building up in the radiator hoses. its causing them to swell up and popping out of place. it literally punched a hole right through the upper radiator hose causing coolant to spill everywhere. whats wrong with it?

... the hoses are bad. Replace them. Make sure to get hoses designed for the cooling system, preferably the ones from Nissan made for the 300ZX. (You can't just use any hose and expect it to hold up to the heat and pressures combined.)

It's either that (bad hoses), or a bad head gasket causing him to boost his coolant system..
