Power steering and AT light question

So I just got my new 92 tt and love it. But while driving I've noticed that when first starting out the steering is nice and easy, the wheel moves without a lot of force. After about 5-10 min of driving it takes a lot more force to turn the wheel. Also my HICAS light will come on sometimes while driving, never at first start up. Am I just low on PS fluid, or could it be something else? I know to use DEXRON. Also, when first starting the car the AT light flashes. I know from the users guide that it should flash 2 times then go out. What does it mean if it flashes 16 times? Does someone have a link to a flashing guide? Thx for any feedback.

First off I don't have a TT, but I do have an auto. Definately check the fluid levels, I always check the P/S warm and at idle. Had a leaky hose once and had to add all the time till I fixed it. Never paid attention to the A/T lite flash, haven't had any problems with the tranny.

Checked ps fluid, if anything it looks like its too high. Other than that it seem to run fine. Just wondering what's going on with this.
