Owners manual and security system help

I am on the look out for manuals. I bought my Z and got no books with it at all. Does anyone know where I can get a 1990 300zx owners manual and like a chilton or haynes manual?
I also need some help with my alarm. It has the stock alarm on it but it really does not do anything. I see the "security" light come on but nothing ever happens. Is the alarm suppose to set the horn off or lock the doors automatically? if it is suppose to do something what might be my problem? I appreciate all help and advice in advance.

Try locking your car with the window down, wait a minute then open the lock from the inside and get in. Your alarm should go off and you should not be able to start your car. This should simulate someone beaking your windows and opening the door. Of course it doesn't help if they just climb in the window and steal your stereo!

They way to shut it off is to use your key in the dirvers door. This is what I know, if anyone else has anything to add I would be interested to. I am not sure if there are any other sensors like a shock for breaking glass or merc switch for someone jacking it up to steal you tread, I have never tested it and also don't have a book yet.

i know its the same for the trunk and the hood...if those are open the alarm will sound and again turn it off on the driver side door. As far as anything else im not sure but when i get off of work ill check the mauanl for you...
