Opinions on SZ Dual Tip Muffler

I'm about to buy a stainless set from a Z enthusiast in another forum - and maybe he's on this forum also. 1000 miles or less on it and he's asking $450. Good buy or not? Thanks.

Specialty Z exhausts are good systems and $450 is a steal if it's in good condition.

It's $650+shipping from SZ's site for a total of $690! It's not a great deal but for $450 shipped to my door I'm very tempted to go for it, even with 10K on the thing! Someone talk me out if possible.

axle back = weak sauce get a cat back then finish off the system with split dp and straights for the mid. if you can get away with it emmission wise otherwise save the stockers.

I don't plan to install this until I have a complete CAT back system. Just building up my Stage-II stack, slowly! If I can find good quality used pieces, I'll get them!

Its awesome, I have it on my Z, sounds good.

If you plan on getting the complete cat back, you might as well spend the extra 200 for the a brand new complete cat back.

Even if the x / h pipe costs you, say, $100, thats 550-650 already. If the system is $690 shipped, brand new form Specialty Z, well....

I think you can figure out the rest from here.

don't get axel back, because you will never find just the cat to axle piece... your spending 450 on mufflers... you could spend half that at a local muffler shop...
