oil pressure???

I have a 90 TT and I notice that the oil pressure changes while I'm driving the car for a short period. The oil pressure goes down to 20 then goes back up to 60 when I step on the gas. Is this normal because the car is turbo or it's something I have to be concerened about? I change the oil and oil filter also and the oil pressure still flactuates. neen some good advise please

It's normal. For any car.

what do you mean by "fluctuating"? Mine is very steady, not what I would call "fluctuating." 20-60psi is pretty normal for a Z32 depending on what the engine is doing.

is it a stock gauge?I don't think it's the most accurate thing in the world. also it is normal for pressure to move up and down on TT.

mine is messed up too
i like to think of my oil pressure gauge as a boost gauge
most of the time its at 0, but when i gun it it goes up past 60 and back down when i shift.

Ummmm.... i don't think it's supposed to move that much, unless you have one of those electric superchargers for $69.99

That's fine, but that's not where the sending unit is located. It's down by the oil filter, but I'm sure you knew that.

Do aftermarket gauges come with new senders? I wouldn't know because I have never ordered an OPG.
