no ignition
My baby is a '91 manual NA. Today morning it reffused to start. When I crank it, I heard like a normal starting noise for a sec, but then it was just a cranking without ignition. All the controll lights ok hut have no ignition? Anybody have a idea what happened? Ignition, fuel pump? Was something similar listed b4?
Thanks

it doesnt hurt to check the battery. wipe off the connections, jiggle things around, and then try it. Mine wouldnt start, and either that or changing the starter relay fixed it. I did them both at the same time... oh well. twinturbo.net has a write up on the starter relay. it was under $50 bucks from nissan I think.
hope that helps man,

An smart autoelectrician solved my problem, but You was really close to the solution!
A nasty contact error was guilty. There is a bunch of cables going into ignition unit and their connector got loosen a bit. It was just enough to shake the connector on right way and tadaa...
This guy also showed me where to shake (right under the ignitor unit - which is hidden behind of left trottle pipe) if happens again, but I think I'll let inspect the connector at the next service.
Jonnyz, thanks for reply and for your effort!
