Hey guys , I have a 1990 300zx 2+2 na. It's has a lot of issues with the engine. And since its a 21 year old car I figured I would switch the engine to a JDM 300zx rebuild engine that only has about 80,000 miles on it and suppose to run like new . My question is are there any other types of engines that I could put in my z that would one fit and not cause much modifications. any ideas?

 

Well the jdm version is the same as the one you already have. If your going to take out the engine, I'd say TT it.

JDM rebuild? If you meaning getting a JDM motor and rebuilding it. You might as well just rebuild the motor you have now.

Finding a clean low mileage JDM motor is going to be hard nowadays.

 

EBay has plenty of jdm sellers for 85,000miles and under for about 800 bucks
