Loss of power?

Hey guys i have a 1990 n/a z32, recently my car has started loosing power when i shift and give it a bit of revs almost like its my fuel pump or injectors aren't feeding the gas fast enough. Which is possible because I've been stupid and running it on low gas. I also took my stock air filter box and replaced it with a 3" pod filter intake, i was confused on what to do with the smaller pipes on each side of the pod filter which use to connect into the side of the stock air box they just run back into the center intake pipe, are you suppose to leave them there? or remove them/block them off ?

Any help/knowledge would be appreciated this is my first car by the way .

Welcome to ZDriver!

Check ecu codes. And yes... you are supposed to block unused vacuum lines.
