little bit of a swap here....

My buddy wants to put a ball bearing on his non-ball bearing turbo, I have no damn clue if this can even be done.... So Rizz maybe you can tell me..... and speaking of help.... where the hell is drag_300japan at? I havent seen a reply from him in like 3 months. Little bastard was supposed to get back to me on that one peice front end! .... OR......Maybe America dropped another atom bomb on Japan and they havent told us yet . Haha, j/p. Peace

I don't think it can be done. Wouldn't the casing have to be larger to accomodate the bearings themselves? You'd still have to make room for the vane if you used the same housing. To make room for the bearings you'd have to use a smaller vane/compressor wheel which would not give you same boost. I'm assuming all this of course, but it makes sense to me. Most ball bearing turbos that I've seen are much larger in overall size than the stock turbos anyway.
