Anyone have a Japanese FSM or a wiring chart for the electrical system (Specifically the power folding mirrors). I'm getting ready to wire mine in and I need a wiring diagram for them.

I assume that's just out of the english (UK?) FSM... Yah, I really need a japanese FSM i guess... *sigh*, or someone with a JDM front clip with the mirrors that wanted to take the time to look at them and tell me...

A friend of mine is going to japan in a week to play Z's, he said if i could get the part number, he might could find something over there for me, any idea's on this?

wouldnt the mirrors share the same diagram as any model? im pretty sure ALL z's were made in japan.

 

jdm mirrors are electrically folding.

 

Electronically folding IE, they have extra wires in them and stuff.

 

does the housing fold or just the glass inside?

cause im thinking of the glass inside which mine does, but if its the whole assembly then damn, i want me those.

 

the whole thing. like, now yours can manually fold in, but with these, it replaced the electro defog with the whole thing that folds....

I suck at wiring, but couldn't you just wire it to a 12v power source and then a switch?

 

yes, but would that be right? no..... well possibly, i guess i'll find out when I get a wiring diagram. and it's the fact that i don't want to rewire it all, when i may just have to run 1 or 2 wires.... there's already a a harness....
