Here are a few pics of comparisons between the Stillen IC's and the OEM IC's.

wow... those are double the size, and your stock intercoolers look super clean 91...I don't understand how z32 tt came with such small intercoolers stock... probably so there is no lag since they are in the front. My stock intercooler is huge from the factory, but i think i might upgrade to FMIC down the road and eliminate that huge hood scoop

The pictures really don't do them justice. The quality is excellent. The welds are awesome. The fitment looks like it will be perfect. They supplied me with some new plugs for my turn signals because the IC's will get in the way. It just requires a little solder and it's set to go.

My dad is kinda in the same boat as b's dad. Not quite that bad, but I think that they'd get along. Anyways. When I showed my dad, he only said two words,..."Holy ****!" That was all I needed to hear. :burnout:

I don't know if this holds true on the Subaru's, but the FMIC's don't outperform the SMIC's on these cars. What the hell do they call yours? A TMIC?

Hi, this is my first post. I want to start out by saying WOW, this is one incredible website. I can, and have spent hours filling my head with the wealth of real world info in these forums. I have only purchased my Z32 TT a few weeks ago. I don't even have it yet. It's being transport by DAS. Should get it in the next couple days. So, I have only been doing serious research for about a week. I can actually find more Z info faster w/ a lot less B.S. to filter through then on google. I'm finally trading in my MKIII SloPRA turbo for the car I always wanted, but couldn't afford. I have a feeling this is only the first of a long life of frequent posts. Anyway, enough intro, here is my question.

Do you guys know the exact dimension of these stillen SMIC's (core &/or with end tanks). I have a friend who makes custom intake/exhaust/turbo set ups. I was hoping to buy a couple cores and have him make the tanks and pipes. I want to use this size because I'm thinking of using the stillen intercooler air duct. Do you guys know anything about the IC air duct. Are they worth the $150-225? Also, do you know of any ducts for the stock IC's. I don't plan on making any outragous HP. My goal is 425-475 crank. I want to do as much as I can w/ the stock turb's and injectors.

I was going to try and fab some ducts myself, but I'm sure it would take forever, not work well and look like crap. I guess I'll leave that to Stillen.

/\ Me too Do any of you guys have Z1 I/Cs? Also i know this may sound stupid but are there any FMIC that fit behind stock bumper w/o getting a new bumper or cuttiing it up. I'm not the showy type and like to let people find out on there own. I love the orignal style of the front which is why i don't want to replace the front.

the only way to achieve that is Custom Core and Custom Endtank with custom pluming. and you still have to trim hre and there.
