Injector Problems

HI I HAVE 91 300ZX TT WITH 73000 MILES ON IT,IN MAY 99 WITH 69712 MILES #5 INJECTOR WENT BAD AND REPLACED.IN APRIL 01 WITH 71126 MILES 2 MORE INJECTORS WENT BAD AND I REPLACED ALL 6 INJECTORS. MAY 02 #6 INJECTOR WENT BAD AGAIN AND WAS REPLACED.NOW JUNE 03 WITH 73000MILES #5 INJECTOR HAS GONE BAD AGAIN. THE INJECTORS ARE BLUE DOT INJECTORS. ACCORDING TO A LOCAL MECHANIC NISSAN INJECTORS ARE NOTORIOUSLY BAD AND ARE REPLACED CONSTANTLY. I DONT BY THAT, TO GET 1000 MILES ON AN INJECTOR. IS THERE SOMETHING THAT IS CREATING THIS PROBLEM .I START THE CAR EVERY MONTH DURING THE WINTER MONTHS AND LET IT RUN. I PUT ABOUT 1000 MILES A YEAR ON IT. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE HELPFUL. I AM THINKING OF PUTTING 555 NISMO INJECTORS IN IT. THANKS NIKO.

Well somthing is wrong but it will take a trouble shooting to find. I have never heard anything about nissan injectors going bad like that. Have you looked at the plugs to see if they are corroded. This could cause the problem. I'm the type of person that doesnt trust anybody to work on my Z. I do all my own work. Let me do a little research and see what I can come up with!

This is a part from good ol' Courtesy Nissan. Although you'll have to get 2. I think this should solve your problem. I can't believe your dealer didn't pick up on this. You'd think they'd check for simple wear and tear on a wire harness, huh?

Or if you're feeling frugal there's always this on e-bay. I think it looks kinda cheap though.

i had one injector go bad on my 90' tt, at about 75k and i think i have one if not more going bad on my 93' tt now. but i have also had wiring harness' go bad and that might also be the current problem.
