I got mine done by a muffler shop and it came out real nice, but chances of my Z being TT soon are becoming really good. If you've got a TT motor, I'd stay 2.5" to 3.0". Bigger is good.

Sorry, but you'll never get that muscle car sound from a TT 3.0 V6. The turbos absorb too much of the sound, and a V6 won't sound like a muscle car, no matter what you do. Check out www.specialtyz.com. I believe they sell the best exhaust systems available. They can make you a custom system since you'll have a 2+2 TT.

I think it's funny how most ppl that ask for exhaust advice for their Z, always say they don't want it to sound like a Honda. I don't think a Z could sound like a Honda if you tried.

oh, im sure it could happen at some point in the rpm curve. my friends stealth has a flowmaster muffler on it and it gets pretty high pitched, but it sounds sweet when he shifts.

oh my lord...my neighbor, who I'm good friends with owns a 92' Honda Civic DX with a swapped out ZC engine. It is the definition of rice...he has DC ceramic coated headers, then some sort of GReddy exhaust (I don't know the model) by the way coffee cans are for coffee not exhaust tips...but he just put about a grand into his engine replacing fuel rails and pulleys and what not..but anyway when he is only at 2500 RPM's it is so loud and ricey..you can hear him coming from a couple blocks away no joke..*dissapointment*

That's a sound you'll never hear from a Z32 TT, and most N/A, unless the owner tries real hard to make it sound that way.

yah i KNOW! I have never heard of it before either, but I look at a stock DX engine then his engine and it seems everything is reversed..and suprisingly when he went to get a oil filter for it in the books at Schucks it actually read "ZCblahblahblah"..I never heard of it either until around 6 months ago..

ZC engines are pre-vtec DOHC honda engines. They came in early integras, CRX and civic. There's more (cheaper) hot rod parts for them than for the newer vtec engines.
