First Upgrades

I want to upgrade Intake, Exhaust, and Headers in my N/A... What products do you guys recommend in these categories???

P.S. I also want the Exhaust to sound deep but not too loud, like a Truck; no high-pitched ricey sound like Hondas or Acuras...

For full exhaust, and if your not too worried about price...the GReddy Evo Cat-back system is really good choice. It has a nice deep sound to it, but is still drivable on the highway without it covering up your music. Excluding headers I think its like $860.00 w/o shipping but for intake I'd say go with good ole' K&N...never steered me wrong

Intake: K&N, JWT either/or
Exhaust: Specialty Z Sebring for not too loud
Headers: Ebay headers, exactly the same as Stillen's, half the price.

Does it matter if the headers are ceramic coated??
also, if i get the JWT pop charger, will it be the same if i use the stock intake pipes or the ones on ebay?

The intake pipes will be thhe same. The ebay ones just look better. The Ceramic coating on the headers keeps the engine compartment cooler because more of the heat is trapped inside the manifold to flow out of the exhaust. It's a benefit, but not a necessity.

You'll also want to look into an ASHSPEC ecu from Z1.

Um, no. They'll charge you $600 and once you return your stock ECU, then they credit back $300. You need to return it within either 30 or 60 days to get the credit. I'm not sure on the timeframe.

If you send your ECU in at the same time as your payment, then you won't have to come up with the extra $300.

As far as the intake pipes go, they're cosmetic. There's no benefit to having polished intake pipes unless you have a TT.

Tool box, binders, work bench, garbage can, in the trash, anywhere on a honda....maybe, tastefully under the hood somewhere for the Z. :P

It's probably the CARB sticker that is proof of a legal mod? If so, the best place is the radiator support where the smog guy (or coppertop) can see it.

yes.
You need the one that sits directly in front of the cone. That protects it from sucking up water.

no that's not it.
I think you should try Z1Motorsports. They have a Z junkyard and can get you pretty much anything you need.

Or ...you can go the creative route and make your own splash guard.
