High oil pressure 1991 JDM TT

Can anyone help me out with this? A few days ago I noticed my oil pressure gauge maxed out at idle and would stay the same while driving. I changed the oil and filter and was going to change the pressure sending unit but I can't find it at all. What's up with this? Is it in a different spot on the JDM models? The gauge still reads maximum pressure too so something's still wrong. Please help!

PS I'll try to post pics tomorrow of the oil filter area.

Well, it's either shorted out, or the sender is bad.

I can't even find a sender though, it's not in the place it's supposed to be as far as I know. Can the sender be located elsewhere in the car?

Thanks but is there a detailed diagram available? I'm pretty new to these cars so I'm not really sure where stuff is.
