Gas Problem
second ^^^ only problem is fuel leaks can be hard to detect especially if its the injector seals leaking you'll never see it because it will leak in an out of sight spot and evaporate almost imediatly due to a hot engine.
Get yourself a screwdriver and double check each and every hose clamp you can find, best advise I can give on this one. I find the hose clamps are really prone to vibrating loose just enough to have a little fuel seep out on startup. Of course if you're smelling it all the time you should probabaly have it checked out by someone.
Fuel + hot things = bad

If it's coming out of the exhaust, I'll bet you have an injector out of spec... remove the connectors and test the resistance across the contacts for all your injectors. I suspect at least one will be less than 10ohms (thus dumping too much fuel into the cylinder). 10-14 ohms is acceptable, anything outside of that range should be replaced.
If one's dead, then all are close behind. Injectors are $900 for the set, installation is a few hours... expect about $1200-$1400 if you pay someone.
That's the last fish I'm giving you... now learn to fish for yourself. The search button has been shown to you in other threads.

ill searched a bit and i found that it was my fuel clamps, sooo i tighten them cause some were loose and that seemed to have solved my gas problem. but man some of them was pretty hard to find lolz
but its all done
but its all done
so now that this has been solved and this won't be thread jacking (IMO), i have a question concerning a post made earlier. the one from snw about the fuel evaporating as soon as it leaks.
well i have a fuel smell only when the engine is cold. and i do have some signs of possible fuel wash around one or two of the injectors. i have already tightened and re-tightened them. so, are leaky fuel injectors at all consistant with a strong smell during cold running, and if so, what is the best plan of action to stop this? new rings? they are brand new OEM injectors

Yes, replace the o-rings. When the engine warms up, the o-rings expand and that's likely why the leaks stop.
Same deal with fuel hoses... the rubber expands when the engine is warm, making them tighter on the hard lines.

NEVER buy a set of used stock injectors especially from a junkyard.
